QSD pricing dynamics
While the minting price of QSD will always be $1, the market value after all QSD is minted will vary. As part of QSD’s design, we have set a lower limit of $0.7 USD, but no upper limit.
That means the market value may be worth more than $1 USD if the market deems it so. We have created a table that illustrates the relative APY based on the market value of a single QSD.
QSD Price in USD | APY vs. Price | Yield per QSD (constant) |
$0.70 (range low) | 21.43% | $0.15 |
$0.80 | 18.75% | $0.15 |
$0.90 | 16.67% | $0.15 |
$1.00 (mint price) | 15% | $0.15 |
$1.1 | 13.64% | $0.15 |
$1.50 | 10% | $0.15 |
$2.00 | 7.5% | $0.15 |
$2.50 | 6% | $0.15 |
$3.00 | 5% | $0.15 |
